I’m Craig Langston, a multidisciplinary Creative Director and designer with 20+ years’ experience helping businesses turn ideas into effective brands, products, and campaigns that truly connect with their audiences. I work across brand identity, packaging, illustration, print, digital, and ecommerce—moving from early concepts to production-ready artwork while keeping projects moving smoothly.
I’m at my best when I understand how a project works, not just how it should look. That means asking questions, resolving practical design and retail challenges early, and applying a systems-led approach so the work delivers consistently—whether I’m shaping UK brand direction, producing internal communications, or building web and ecommerce content. I aim to be reliable and easy to work with, delivering what’s needed and ensuring clients are genuinely pleased with the outcome.

Ongoing creative partnership with AutoBead, taking over and developing an established visual identity across packaging, ecommerce, print, education, professional detailing and marketing.
My work began with packaging and production artwork, including product labels, revised back-of-pack information and new label formats for larger-volume products. This developed into a much broader role supporting the brand across product presentation, sales, education and professional detailing.
I have created numerous brochures, guides and digital publications, including ceramic-coating aftercare material, coating comparison guides and AutoBead’s Detail Like a Pro educational content. The Detail Like a Pro programme has since developed into a wider training offer covering foundation, advanced and professional detailing education.
My wider print and brand work has included certificates, professional banners, ebooks, internal logos and sub-brands, mirror hangers, window stickers, signage, product boxes, exhibition graphics and trade-show stands. I have also produced marketing and sales materials supporting AutoBead’s professional accreditation programme and its network of professional detailers. AutoBead continues to position accreditation, training and marketing support as a significant part of its professional offer.
Digital work has formed a major part of the relationship. I have designed and developed numerous website and landing pages covering professional accreditation, detailer sales, Detail Like a Pro programmes, coating and wax products, wheels and tyres and other specialist campaigns. I have also created Amazon listings, product-detail gallery imagery, ecommerce graphics and broader web marketing designed to explain technically complex products clearly and help customers choose the right solution.
Across all of this work, my role combines creative design with production accuracy and fast commercial delivery, extending an existing brand consistently across packaging, print, education, ecommerce, professional services and events.
The result is a much broader and more cohesive brand presence, with AutoBead able to communicate consistently to both enthusiast customers and professional detailers across physical products, online sales, training, accreditation and marketing.
Long-standing creative partnership with Phil Smith Hair Care, spanning multiple generations of the brand and more than 200 products brought to market over many years.
I first worked with Phil Smith Be Gorgeous, taking responsibility for the graphic design and helping develop the brand into the bold, colourful identity it became known for. My work extended across the core haircare range, accessories and electrical products, as well as packaging, marketing materials, retail presentations, pack shots, promotional graphics, POS and exhibition design.
As the brand evolved into Phil Smith Everyday Expert, I helped develop and roll out a new visual direction across another extensive range of haircare products, accessories and electricals. I also created retailer presentations, event graphics and branded exhibition environments, including work supporting the brand’s presence at major retail events.
More recently, I have worked extensively on Phil Smith Professional Haircare, creating and developing the visual identity and producing artwork across bottles, cartons, outer packaging, gift boxes, gift sets, information cards, in-store graphics, POS, advertising and marketing print. The range has been rolled out through major UK retail, including Tesco.
My role has also included supporting and managing product and model photography, ensuring that imagery works consistently across packaging, advertising, presentations and retail environments.
The result is a long-term design relationship that has supported repeated brand evolutions, hundreds of product launches and major retail roll-outs, combining creative development with accurate, production-ready artwork across packaging, print, retail and marketing.
Long-standing creative partnership with A-OK9, working across branding, product development, packaging, ecommerce, events and ongoing marketing.
I have designed and developed A-OK9’s core premium supplement range across 11 products, alongside further products and range extensions across the wider portfolio. My work covers brand development, naming, sub-brands, packaging concepts, label and pouch artwork, production-ready files, pack shots and the creation of visual systems that allow the range to grow consistently.
I also designed the A-OK9 website and continue to support its development, including direct work within Shopify, product detail pages, ecommerce content and ongoing design improvements. I have developed the brand’s Amazon presence, including Store design, product imagery and A+ Content, working alongside Amazon specialists to improve presentation and consistency across the platform.
My wider work for A-OK9 includes infographics, branded resources, downloadable guides, photography and shoot direction, competition creative, social and digital content, branded filming backdrops and large-format exhibition graphics. I have also designed A-OK9’s presence at Crufts across three consecutive years.
Alongside the core canine range, I have developed branding and design concepts for feline and equine ranges, as well as numerous sub-brands and supporting identities.
The result is a scalable and recognisable brand system that works consistently across physical products, ecommerce, Amazon, events, photography and marketing, with my role operating as an ongoing external creative partner rather than simply a supplier of individual pieces of artwork.
Long-standing design partnership with Ramus Seafood, supporting the business across branding, packaging, print, exhibitions and B2B marketing.
My work has included packaging and label design across Ramus Seafood and a number of associated brands, including Morgan Bay, East Cove, Hooked on Treats and The Fish Dish. This has involved developing new product identities, creating range systems, adapting existing brands and producing technically accurate artwork for commercial print and packaging production.
A significant part of the work involves creating flexible label and packaging systems that allow Ramus to efficiently manage different products, customers and specifications, including artwork designed around overprinting requirements and variable product information.
I also produce a wide range of supporting B2B material, including trade advertising, sales literature, presentations, digital assets, exhibition graphics and large-format trade-show displays, helping Ramus present its products consistently across retail, trade and commercial environments.
The relationship is also built around speed and reliability. Ramus regularly works to extremely short commercial deadlines, with many briefs requiring same-day or half-day turnaround. My role is to quickly understand the requirement, make appropriate design decisions and deliver accurate, production-ready artwork without compromising brand consistency or technical quality.
The result is an ongoing external design resource that Ramus can call on across multiple brands, products and channels, from a single urgent product label through to complete ranges, exhibitions and broader marketing campaigns.
