I'm Craig, a South Wales based filmmaker, editor and visual content creator with over a decade of experience producing work that genuinely connects with people. My background is broad by design. I co-founded Tatu Pictures, an independent documentary production company whose work reached BBC broadcast audiences, including contributions to Kate Humble: Off the Beaten Track. That experience gave me a deep grounding in visual storytelling, editorial judgement and the craft of finding the human story within any subject. Since then I've worked across a wide range of projects, from social media reels for charity campaigns (the most memorable of which helped a crowdfunding campaign grow from £24,000 to £34,000) to commercial looping videos for product brands, motion graphics, illustrations and photography. Almost everything I know about editing I taught myself - driven by instinct, obsession and an embarrassing number of cold cups of tea. I'm someone who falls into flow state easily; I'll start a project in the morning and surface hours later in the dark with a finished piece in front of me and no memory of time passing. That level of absorption is what I bring to every project. I work in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator, and I'm comfortable operating as a single-person production unit - handling concept, filming, editing and delivery - or slotting into a wider creative team. What makes me different? I genuinely care about the work. I think hard about who is watching, why, and what they need to feel. That thinking shapes every creative decision I make, from the pace of an edit to the music choice to the final colour grade. If you need someone who can turn a brief into something that actually lands - get in touch.
