    Il-Baħħar tal-Lejl
Il-Baħħar tal Lejl is a Maltese orchestral song that blends cinematic scoring with Maltese musical identity. It was written by Craig Saliba and recorded with a live orchestra at AIR Studios in London. The piece has a strong emotional and atmospheric character, evoking the feeling of a sailor travelling through the night. Its music moves between intimate, reflective passages and larger orchestral moments, creating a sense of longing, uncertainty, movement, and ultimately hope. It was also created as part of a Maltese cultural project and became particularly notable for its live orchestral production and cinematic approach.
