DAWs and editing software including Adobe Audition, Cubase Pro, Wavelab. Plug-ins including Waves, UAD, Slate. Sound design synths including Arturia Pigments and Xfer Serum. Recording - Mic selection/placement, critical listening, incorporating artist/client feedback to achieve desired results, experience in both studio and remote on location live recording. Editing - Comping takes, time alignment, trimming, noise reduction, spectral editing, normalization/level matching to prepare for mixing. Mixing - Standard mix tools such as EQ, compression, reverb, ect., as well as advanced and artistic methods such as side-chaining, tonal placement, etc. to create a cohesive sounding end result that achieves the technical requirement and emotional wishes of the client to ready the product for mastering. Mastering - Preparing the completed project to be sent for publishing, through critical listening and applying level matching and tonal balancing across the entire project, along with any other final adjustments needed, creating a cohesive final product.
