About

Hi there, I’m Doug Bonderud, a Calgary-based freelance writer with a diverse background in public service and law enforcement. I started my career as a Passport Officer with the Canadian Federal Government and later served as a Police Officer with the Edmonton Police Service. Since 2015, I’ve focused on freelance writing, helping clients tell credible, engaging stories.

I work with content creation teams to produce bylined blog and white paper content, as well as ghost-written pieces for SMEs and C-suite executives. My clients include IBM, ADP, HubSpot, Northrop Grumman, CDW, and Salesforce, and I enjoy translating complex topics into clear, compelling copy.
