Tomas aka (Dafunkeetomato) Olchove was born in Canada. Growing up, Tomas was influenced by the funky sounds of disco, funk, hiphop and anything funky. As a kid, Dafunkeetomato spent his time building lowrider bicycles, doing graffiti, and mc'ing. In 1994, and at the age of 17, Dafunkeetomato got his first set of technic 1200's. Started devoting all his time to learning and honing his skills as a dj. In 1996, Dafunkeetomato got his first residency at Zombies Night Club in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. Since then he has played all over western Canada , opening for acts all across the globe. In 2003 , Dafunkeetomato took a break from music due to life complications. In 2011, Dafunkeetomato came back in to the scene , playing his trademark sound of funky and disco house. In November of 2013, Dafunkeetomato picked up producing. Dafunkeetomato's first signed track "Bumps Da Funks", was released on the major label Pocket Jacks Trax, which reached #69 on the Traxsource top 100. Since, has had another track released on Jukebox Recordz summer compilation album, and ore tracks are in the works.
