Independent Project — SwiftUI Songwriting App (Nocturne) at Independent Project

April 1, 2026 - Present

Built a native SwiftUI songwriting app with an offline-first architecture and on-device persistence for privacy (no external data storage). Implemented a custom chord-alignment engine using line/word indexing so chords stay synchronized with lyrics during editing. Added Face ID authentication via LocalAuthentication, deep linking, PDF export, and audio recording/playback using AVFoundation.

Independent Project — Multimedia Journaling App (Drift) at Independent Project

November 1, 2025 - March 31, 2026

Developed a SwiftUI journaling app that captures text entries, photos, and ambient audio recordings at the moment entries are created. Added a MapKit-based visualization layer to plot entries by location. Architected the app using MVVM with Views/ViewModels/Models/Services, Combine for reactive state management, and Swift Concurrency for async work. Integrated Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore for accounts and cross-device synchronization.

Independent Project — Location-Based Personal Memory App (Still) at Independent Project

February 1, 2025 - October 31, 2025

Built a SwiftUI app associating personal memories with real-world places using MapKit and CoreLocation. Designed a protocol-based repository and authentication layer enabling migration from SwiftData/mock auth to a Supabase backend (PostgreSQL, Row-Level Security, Sign in with Apple, and passwordless email authentication) without changing view-layer code. Used MVVM with Swift's Observation framework and developed a reusable design system (custom typography, spacing, and components).
