My role involved building edits from the ground up using supplied scripts, sourcing and integrating relevant archive footage, stock footage, motion graphics, and MOGRTs. I handled colour grading to match the tone and atmosphere of each story, and took care of sound design (including background music selection, audio clean-up, and repair) to create a cohesive, engaging final product. I also shaped pacing and structure according to YouTube best practices for viewer engagement and retention.

The platform features courses and classes from a range successful artists and producers. As Video Editor & Content Producer at Whatclass, I worked across the full production pipeline, with a primary focus on post-production and video editing work. My responsibilities included editing a wide range of educational, promotional, and internal content, designing motion graphics, and handling audio post-production tasks such as mixing, cleanup, and sound design. I also contributed to pre-production planning and scripting, and supported on-location shoots as a DIT. Alongside my core production duties, I was involved in developing early-stage AI tools to explore automation and efficiency in creative workflows. I played a key role in preparing content for one of the company’s biggest milestones: launching video courses on Spotify. Throughout my time at Whatclass, I collaborated with both internal teams and external freelancers, adapting to fast-changing briefs and maintaining high creative standards under tight deadlines.
