My final project at University, A Harsh Reality is a film I wrote and was the Script Supervisor on. It involves Simon, a man who has just been broken up with, and in his drunken, pitiful state, he is approached by a salesman who makes him aware of a place called Fantasy Palace, an underground, criminal facility where you are able to live out any fantasy by way of these advanced Virtual Reality rigs. Full of resentment towards his girlfriend, Simon goes to the Fantasy Palace and enters false realities of him repeatedly murdering his ex-girlfriend, eventually leading him to becoming addicted, losing all of his money and then, willingly, he accepts to be hooked up the machine forever.
