Juan Diego Estupiñan Diaz
As a composer and music producer, I specialize in crafting diverse musical landscapes across multiple genres. In 2024, I collaborated with the Universidad Nacional, composing original scores for several series that spanned symphonic music, electronic, rock-metal, Colombian folk music, and contemporary styles. This experience reinforced my ability to adapt and innovate within different musical languages, seamlessly blending traditional and modern elements.
Holding degrees in Composition and Music, I have developed a keen ear for orchestration, arrangement, and music production. Beyond my work in media, I have also been deeply involved in live performance and music education, shaping new generations of musicians while fostering artistic growth. My tenure as an Artistic Trainer at IDARTES allowed me to bridge the gap between artistic institutions and emerging talent, promoting cultural exchange and expanding the reach of arts education.
My commitment to storytelling through music continues to drive my creative process, ensuring that each composition not only enhances visual narratives but also resonates with audiences on an emotional level.

Dear friends, I am excited to share with you a project in which I had the opportunity to reimagine the soundscape: “Water Lily – Birth of the Lotus.”
The original video already existed with its own music, but in this version, I took on the challenge of creating an entirely new musical and sonic identity. Every element—composition, sound design, and production—was crafted from the ground up to enhance the visual narrative, bringing a fresh perspective to its story.
By blending orchestral elements with electronic textures, I sought to evoke a sense of transformation, serenity, and rebirth—just as the lotus flower rises from the water in its full splendor.
