Daniel Sterlin-Altman (he/him) is a Canadian animation filmmaker based in Berlin. Specialising in stop-motion animation and frame-by-frame techniques, Daniel is a storyteller with an eye for nuance and emotion. His work explores family, sexuality and identity through a range of camp, absurdity, comedy and realism. A Master's graduate of Filmuniversity Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF in Potsdam, Daniel has directed several independent short films as well as commissioned works that have screened at festivals around the world.
