I’m Daniel Montes Ribeiro, a Brazilian composer, music producer, and musician with over 25 years of experience in the music industry. I specialize in producing tracks and albums for bands and solo artists, as well as scoring and mixing soundtracks for film, documentaries, and branded content.
Equally at home in the studio or on stage, I blend composition, performance, songwriting, and audio production—moving seamlessly between creative and technical roles, from arranging to recording and mixing. I perform on acoustic and electric guitar, bass, and also contribute vocals.
Recently relocated to Paris, I’m available for both remote and in-person collaborations—as a composer, producer, instrumentalist, or creative partner. I’m fluent in English and Portuguese and currently learning French.
Let’s make something great together.

Guaiamum is Daniel Ribeiro’s solo project, influenced by folk, rock, and ambient music. On his debut album, he composed, arranged, produced, and performed all the tracks, with guest contributions on drums, bass, and strings. The project stands out for its introspective and cinematic atmosphere, as seen in the music video for the track “Convenience".

A couple meet again after a long time at a dancefloor. Their moves remember a quarrel or a contest. The separation is inevitable as the breaking waves at the rocks during a storm.
Duas pessoas que há muito não se viam se encontram. O casal segue uma coreografia que lembra uma disputa, uma separação inevitável, como o escoar da onda que bate nas pedras durante uma tempestade no mar.

Mathias is a writer adrift.
After the death of his wife Natália, he embarks on a path of self-destruction, driven by a deep sense of guilt he cannot overcome. Little by little, Mathias begins to isolate himself within his home.
In a blend of memories and delusions, the short film explores guilt and the impossibility of coexistence within family relationships, permeated with symbolic elements.
