I’m Anita Danielle Ingram, a musicologist and doctoral researcher with training in musicology and ethnomusicology from Yale University and Florida State University. My work focuses on how Black gospel music lives in contemporary media—especially on TikTok—and how digital performance shapes cultural memory and sacred traditions.
I’m passionate about bridging scholarship and public conversation, bringing research findings to academic conferences and community-facing presentations. Alongside my research, I’ve supported projects through student research assistant roles that required careful data verification, documentation, and collaborative development—skills that strengthen both my writing and my ability to communicate complex musical ideas clearly.
