Major Coordinator of Digital Experience & Interaction Design at Curtin University

Coordinated 8 units across on-campus Perth, offshore Mauritius, and online delivery for a 200+ student major and a team of 12 staff. Led a transition into the next curriculum iteration (Immersive User Experience Design), co-authoring curriculum and compliance documentation for 3 new majors under a compressed timeline. Owned relationships with industry partners to arrange internships and student awards, and extended support beyond the role by mentoring a graduate via a partnership with a tech startup. Managed a detailed departure handover with no continuity gaps: consolidated learning materials into a shared digital space, booked timetabling 3 months in advance, onboarded incoming staff, and transitioned students into the new major structure. Averted staffing gaps by quickly recruiting and training replacement tutors after last-minute dropout, protecting teaching quality for a third-year programming unit.
