Hi, I’m Darius Hatcher, a multi-instrumentalist, sound designer, and producer focused on creating immersive audio experiences and innovative instrument concepts. I studied Music Business Entrepreneurship and Technology at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia and have hands-on experience designing a guitar pedal that blends analog synthesis with CV/LFO capabilities. I’ve performed with bands, worked as a backup musician for TV and live shows, and I continually explore new ways to combine music, electronics, and product development. Over the years I’ve played reggae, R&B, and funk with Jada Fête, performed on television and at festivals, and earned recognition such as the PHL Live Award (World Category) for my projects. I’m currently evolving a market-ready guitar pedal concept and building a marketing plan to bring it to life, while staying proficient with Ableton Live, Logic Pro, and a suite of production tools. I have experience writing, composing, producing and recording songs for school plays, small productions and local artists in and outside of my city as well.
