I’m David Foxley, a freelance special effects and prosthetic makeup artist for theatre and film. I also work as a professional tattoo artist and conceptual designer, currently based in Sittingbourne, Kent, splitting my time between film, theatre and other media projects.\n\nOver 18+ years I have helped run studios in the Canterbury/Swale area, mentored seven apprentices who have gone on to successful careers, and earned an IMATS Gold Pro Card while remaining an active tutor in Level 3 media makeup. I train in prosthetics, 3D character makeup and a wide range of materials from silicone to foam latex, and I love applying my creative skills to build convincing creatures, characters and effects for stage and screen.
