David Lee Grossman is a Charleston-based composer, arranger, and conductor specializing in music for film and video games. He is a graduate of Westminster Choir College and the Pacific Northwest Film Scoring Program, where he studied under two-time Emmy Award-winner Hummie Mann. He composed and recorded original scores for the indie films Charlie Mike, Idiosyncratic, and Jerad Davis Throws a Dinner Party, and has conducted several recording sessions of original scores including a 52-piece orchestra session at Bastyr University Chapel.
David has written intro and underscore music for several mystery dinner theater shows for the StageCoach Theatre Company of Loudoun County, Virginia, including all of the original music for their 2016 Halloween production Trick or Treat. His choral works have been premiered by the Citadel Cadet Chorale during their Christmas Candlelight Services and the Juniata College Concert Choir during a concert tour in Ireland.
As a conductor, David has worked with the Charleston Men’s Chorus and Charleston Symphony Orchestra Chorus, and has conducted or taught classes for handbell festivals in New Jersey and South Carolina.

An alien is sent to Earth to study humans. As he makes his first report back, he discovers the human he’s disguised himself as is throwing a dinner party that night. He continues reporting back throughout the night, and his guests grow suspicious.
Video clip:
A short film that tells the story of a soldier and guard, representing two halves of the same person. The soldier is always alert and moving, the guard is passive and getting lazy. They meet in a clearing, but only one leaves.
