In my entry for the Man in the Mirror MC Challenge, I chose to address a sensitive topic that is very important to me. I hope you can understand without my further explanation, here are the lyrics:
"You can't hide
(Verse1)
We thought
We knew the way you do
But the way you operate
Is not the way you claiming to
You faking
It's like you know
The floor beneath you breaking
It's quaking
Reminding you of all the
time you wasting
Displacing
This fragile mind
As you crept up from behind

Depleting
L O V E
And leaving room
For the trauma to bloom
From damage ensued
Perpetrated by you
So now she suffers

Song we did to touch on the issue of Residential Schools in north america, in order to bring light to the issues that the schools cause(d), the atrocities that took place in those schools and because of those schools, the abuse, suffering, torment, and even murder of the Children that were Forced to attend these schools, and the magnitude of the injustice that Indigenous people of North America experience. not to take away from the injustice's felt by other people in the world, and other indigenous people globally, again, just to bring attention to the reality of what took place.
