Hi, I’m Balázs Delbó, a former ballet dancer turned independent filmmaker and founder of DelbeauFilm. I bring over fifteen years of professional experience in filming the performing arts, from performing on stage as a soloist with the Hungarian National Ballet to dancing with the Wiener Staatsoper, and later moving behind the camera in television and film. After my dance career, I joined the film industry as a European field editor at Kazakh State Television for three years before starting DelbeauFilm, and since 2010 my company has partnered with major opera houses and venues, including Wiener Staatsoper, Wiener Staatsballett, Volksoper Wien, Teatro alla Scala, Musikverein Wien, and Musikverein Graz. Today, DelbeauFilm creates promotional films, performances, trailers, DVD releases, and livestreams, working with musicians, dancers, and visual artists. My team and I handle Wiener Staatsoper Livestreams, ballet broadcasts, and other stage productions, as well as short films and interviews. Recent projects include Aufatmen (Respire), a musical program for people affected by COVID, and livestreams such as Serata Grandi Coreografi at Teatro alla Scala in Milan.
