Designed and deployed a Kubernetes microservices architecture (7 services) for scalability and resilience. Built AWS-backed high-availability components including SQS, ElastiCache, RDS (SQL), and MongoDB. Implemented CI/CD with GitHub Actions using AWS OIDC for secure, automated build/test/deploy across environments. Provisioned infrastructure with Terraform and delivered backend APIs on Kubernetes and frontend on Vercel, integrating ArgoCD for GitOps continuous delivery. Secured networking with a dedicated VPC, ExternalDNS, and secrets via AWS Secrets Manager and External Secrets Operator. Enhanced security with Kyverno policies, container image scanning (Trivy), and automated rollback strategies. Implemented automated database backups/monitoring, SSL termination, and full observability using Datadog, RPMTail, and OpenTelemetry with proactive alerting. Added scaling with HPA and Karpenter, CDN for latency-sensitive services, and EventBridge jobs to shut down dev/staging to reduce cost

Optimized application performance using Nginx, PHP-FPM, and MariaDB tuning to improve stability and response times. Built and automated CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions for Laravel deployments across development, staging, and production. Containerized the application with Docker and Docker Compose. Implemented centralized logging with the ELK stack and set up HTTPS with Nginx. Added Prometheus and Grafana for metrics and alerting. Wrote Bash rollback scripts to safely revert deployments. Managed private Docker Hub images with secure pulls for deployment and rollback. Automated backups and monitoring for reliability and data protection, including SSL management. Integrated security into CI/CD via image vulnerability scanning, secrets management, and automated security checks.
