This motion design project was created as a UI concept for a travel destination search experience. During discussions with the client, the main idea was to make the interface feel simple, fast, and focused on choosing a destination without unnecessary steps.
Based on feedback, the direction was kept minimal and interaction-driven. The animation shows a search prompt for travel destinations, followed by a clean reveal of location cards and a selection flow.
The client specifically wanted the experience to feel interactive, so the final interaction focuses on selecting a destination and visualizing movement toward it through cursor behavior and motion transitions.

The animation begins with a task board interface featuring three columns: To Do, In Progress, and Done. A key interaction shows a user attempting to drag a task from To Do to In Progress, which triggers an error state. This highlights system constraints and adds realism to the UI behavior.
Based on feedback-style iterations, the focus shifted toward improving clarity of interactions and strengthening the emotional message behind the frustration of “crunchy” tools.
