I am an experienced and hands-on engineer with a robust background in mechanical design, hardware integration, and cross-disciplinary project management. Some of the projects I was involved in with the City of Edinburgh Council involved the design of stage lighting and more recently outdoor events. Over the years I have designed and delivered systems for automotive simulators, marine launch/recovery gear, ROVs, and high-reliability enclosures, while aligning with ISO/DNV/ Lloyds standards. I enjoy mentoring teams, improving engineering processes, and communicating technical concepts clearly to funders and stakeholders. I am now focused on applying broad design and systems thinking to help my next client or employer accelerate product development, reduce risk, and deliver robust, manufacturable solutions.
