The project is being implemented in two zones of the Oromia region: Borena and East Bale. The major activities of the project are implementing SAPARM (Satellite Assisted Pastoral Resource Management) and strengthening the capacity of beekeepers and the Aloe Vera Association for better production, marketing, and value chain integration. The SAPARM application project has a substantial impact on pastoralist decision-making, allowing them to make informed decisions about herd movement while reducing the effects of drought. On the other hand, sustaining and strengthening the Beekeepers and Aloe Vera Association is critical to the livelihoods of its members and the surrounding community. So, in a 25-minute documentary, we demonstrate the impact of three projects (SAPARM, Aloe Vera, and Beekeeping) and emphasize the necessity of initiatives for communities affected by climatic shocks and with high levels of mobility.
