Hi, I’m Deyasini. I’m a film researcher, writer, and director’s assistant who specializes in storytelling around natural history, sustainability, urban sociology, gender issues, and underserved communities. I collaborate with production houses and channels such as Riverbank Studios, National Geographic Channel, Discovery Channel, History Channel, and Docubay to shape narratives that inform, engage, and empower audiences. I’m passionate about multidisciplinary storytelling and bringing nuanced perspectives to complex social and environmental topics. I hold an MA in Film Studies from University College London and a BA (Honours) in English from Lady Shri Ram College, Delhi University. Over the past four years I have contributed to more than a dozen productions in roles spanning research, scriptwriting, assistant directing, and production support. I’m currently developing projects including a feature documentary on menopause and a multi-episode series on natural farming, while continuing to collaborate with teams across India and internationally.
