Born and raised in Sri Lanka, I’ve been fascinated by animation since childhood. From an early age, I was captivated by how colorful characters come to life—how they move, express emotions, and tell stories through motion. Growing up in a place where animation wasn’t widely recognized and access to proper training was limited, I was determined to follow my passion despite the challenges. After completing my A/Ls, I joined a university that offered animation as part of its curriculum—an opportunity that helped me discover and refine my creative abilities. During my studies, I worked on several animation projects that received positive recognition from lecturers and peers, strengthening my desire to pursue this field professionally. Since then, I’ve gained experience working as an Animator and Motion Graphic Artist at Toon Studio, as well as a Freelance Motion Graphic Artist at Design Dee and Brandi Graphics. My goal is to continue developing my skills in character animation, bringing stories and emotions to life through expressive, meaningful movement.
