Hi, I’m Andre M. Scott, professionally known as Don Medina. I’m a production specialist, DJ, and instructor with Madd Ruff Productions, LLC. For over twenty years I’ve worked in professional recording, editing, mixing, mastering, and sound design of urban music, with production credits across film, video, television, radio, web and other media.
I love creating warm, creative learning spaces—whether in person or online—and I’m committed to helping students master digital audio production using industry-standard software. I’m available Monday through Friday afternoons and evenings to teach and mentor.

Led all aspects of live and recorded AV productions, from FOH mix to multi-camera integration. Managed Dante and AES67-based audio routing for seamless live streaming and in-house broadcasting. Trained and supervised volunteers on intercom systems, mixing consoles, and signal flow management.
Taught courses across four daily class periods; prepared materials and lessons; designed instructional plans and activities; assessed student progress and outcomes; fostered industry-relevant learning experiences and flexible teaching to engage students.
Mixed live remote sports events, ensuring clear and dynamic soundscapes. Maintained and troubleshooted large-scale intercom and routing systems. Established and monitored remote audio workflows for live sports and news production. Provided workflow solutions for integrating cloud-based audio systems into live broadcasting. Liaised with engineering and production teams to streamline technical execution.
