Hi, I’m Jonathan Pelham, a Cranfield-based researcher and teaching fellow focused on flight data, safety, and through-life health management of aircraft systems. I combine aerospace engineering with cloud computing and AI to develop data-driven insights, design experiments, and build scalable analysis tools for safety improvement and uncrewed systems.

In my work, I explore how drone technologies, RF telemetry, and sensor networks can inform operations and training. I enjoy translating complex operations into research questions and delivering practical solutions that support safer flight operations and more effective investigations, whether in manned or unmanned aviation.
