I am Tory Doctor, a Canadian actor with a passion for musical theatre and storytelling. For the past 30 years I have worked as a professional actor, performing and teaching across North America, and collaborating with Theatre Calgary, Quest Theatre School, Calgary Actors' Studio and Patrice Barnes Studio. I also lead workshops and guest lectures focusing on Musical Theatre for institutions such as the University of Calgary, Adrian College, and the Canadian College of Performing Arts. In addition to acting, I write and develop musicals with world‑class composers Dave Zabriskie and Nico Rhodes, creating immersive productions that invite audiences to explore the parts of us that make us human. I love crafting concepts that go beyond the stage, turning performance into an exploratory journey for viewers and performers alike.
