Hi, I’m Simon Pasiroglou, born and raised in Egaleo, a west suburb of Athens, Greece. I’ve been involved with music since early childhood; in 1999 I started making beats on a cassette recorder and soon joined forces with SX O to form Orthologistes (Rationalistas). I built my own recording studio in 2003, and gradually added two MCs and a producer, expanding the project into a full band. In 2005 I studied music engineering and music production and, that same year, Orthologistes represented hip hop culture at a school music contest among 200 participants.
Since then I have performed across Greece at festivals and underground venues, contributed to a Greek documentary on hip hop culture, and given interviews to major outlets. In 2007 we released our debut album Ap’ to Dromo; 2009 saw TNT’s solo album It’s a War; 2010 the band released Mia nuxta meta tin teleutaia mera with Rakaa Iriscience; 2013 Zografos’ Den fovithika na ziso; 2017 Gray Matter; 2021 Mindset EP. Over the years I have recorded, mixed and mastered numerous albums across hip hop, techno, metal and drum’n’bass, worked as a live sound engineer, and handled dubbing recordings for Sierra Studios Athens.
