DuosDuet

Duos Duet is a violin cello duet, composed of Niki Yaghmaee on violin and Golsana Shenasaei on cello. The duo began their musical journey in 2017 by busking in Tehran and performing their original compositions at various concerts throughout Iran, Turkey, and Europe.

Their debut release, “Pieces from Streets,” features five tracks that were originally conceived from improvisations during street performances across Turkey, Georgia, and Iran. Duos Duet uses looping techniques to create a sound space and incorporates Iranian-rooted motives into contemporary sounds, taking the audience on a unique journey with their violin and cello.

Over the years, Duos Duet has collaborated with a variety of international musicians, dancers, and video makers, further expanding their artistic horizons. They regularly share their musical content and videos on social media platforms, gaining a growing following and recognition for their unique musical style.

Both members of Duos Duet have more than 15 years of experience playing in different orchestras, such as Aiso, Nilper, Tehran’s Philharmonic Orchestra, and Tehran Contemporary Ensemble. This extensive experience has contributed to the duo’s musical expertise and excellence.

Currently based in Berlin, Duos Duet continues to captivate audiences worldwide with its performances and musical content.
