Hello, I’m Dylan Magnet, a Bachelor of Arts student majoring in Geography with a History minor at Saint Mary’s University in Halifax. I have experience in public service, outreach, museum operations, customer service, research, and physically demanding fieldwork. I excel in structured environments where accountability, accurate documentation, financial handling, and professional public interaction are essential. I am fully bilingual in English and French and bring strong written and verbal communication skills.
Outside of school and work, I am an artist, particularly a music producer, musician, and writer. I have played in many bands playing rock oriented music, while also making my own electronic / hip-hop / pop inspired music on my own time. I have done freelance mixing and mastering for various hip-hop tracks and albums. One of my greatest influences to my solo music is video game and film soundtracks, particularly fantasy and sci-fi themed music.
I am also a writer, and enjoy writing everything from song lyrics, to poems, to academic papers, and fiction.

More of like a mixtape or compilation of singles, this is a very atmospheric project I released in 2023. Consisting of very experimental sounds, glitchy piano, weird dance music, and glitch beats, this whole project is supposed to sound like a memory that is fading away but you’re desperately trying to keep hold of it. Full length solo album I released in 2025. Experimental electronic, hip-hop, po, and rock music. Written, produced, mixed, mastered, and released by myself (except for noted features and credits on specific tracks). I made this album on Ableton 11 and mobile GarageBand.
