    Kern App is a fast stress relief tool designed for people dealing with high pressure moments, especially after the recent tech layoffs across EMEA. The goal was simple, reduce stress in under five minutes without long meditation sessions or complex navigation. Through eight user interviews I identified the emotional barriers people face when they feel overwhelmed and used these insights to design six ultra simple features that deliver instant calm.

    I led the full UX process from research to high fidelity, keeping the experience minimal and emotionally safe. The final prototype was refined with Figma Make, using AI powered animations and micro interactions to elevate clarity and engagement. The result is a clean, intuitive and highly focused stress relief experience built for real life, not ideal conditions.
