I’ve written articles, features, and bulletins for radio stations and online publications across the South West, the Midlands, and North Yorkshire. My work covers various topics, including mental health, LGBTQ+ identity, comedy, activism, and video game journalism. This includes reviews of indie and triple-A titles such as Maid of Sker and Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. I’ve produced and presented bulletins and radio features for Ujima Radio in Bristol and Free Radio Birmingham, reporting on major regional stories such as the barrister walkouts in June 2022 and the launch of a healthcare academy in Shropshire. As a news reporter, I conducted in-depth research and authored engaging online news articles, lists, and features, maintaining a prolific output of 4-5 online articles daily. Additionally I wrote two long-form magazine features monthly (ranging from 700 to 1500 words each). I played a crucial role in the successful launch of FoodBev's new website, overseeing its SEO strategy and implementation. As a broadcaster, I reshaped and enhanced an existing show for wider audience appeal by introducing a new format. Through improved research, networking, and high-quality interview segments the show and station achieved high praise and listener numbers. During COVID lockdowns, due to the show’s nature being dependent on live events, I reformatted the show to create a 'Good News Roundup', spreading positivity to listeners nationwide, which further achieved a higher audience reach and interaction. Key Achievements: • Boosted listener numbers by 50% for all shows I was involved in. • Directly contributed to the station receiving an Ofcom Licence in 2020.
