A mercurial youth with a head full of caffeine-fuelled notions, Ejaz “Jazzy” Momen can usually be found haunting the dark and wild places of the Delaware Valley. As an academic historian, Jazzy catalogues old, unhappy, far-off things; as a creative writer, he does much the same. His fiction is often inspired by his research, featuring secret histories and shifting perspectives.
Jazzy holds an MA in Historical Studies from the New School, as well as a BA in Political Science from Drexel University, and plans to pursue a PhD and a career in academic history. A committed and passionate writer from childhood, Jazzy is experienced in formal writing for various audiences and purposes (including academic, legal, corporate, as well as creative fiction and non-fiction).
