I’m Ekinsu Kocatürk, an illustrator and children’s book artist; currently living in Germany. I have been working professionally as an illustrator for over four years, focusing on storytelling, character design, and visually rich worlds for children’s content and brands. I hold a BFA from the Faculty of Fine Arts, Ceramics Department at Anadolu University. My creative process often shifts between digital and traditional techniques — depending on the spirit of the project. While I mostly work digitally today, I still keep my sketchbook close, as drawing by hand continues to shape my visual language. I enjoy working in black and white, exploring form and atmosphere, and I add color thoughtfully to serve the story or concept. My first picture book, Daha Çok El, was published by KETEBE in 2022. Alongside book illustration, I also create textile and brand-focused illustrations for boutique studios.
