I am Eldon Bradfield, a violinist, violist, and composer based in Glasgow. I hold a BMus (Honours of the first class) from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and have worked as a musician, manager, and composer/arranger across many genres and performance settings in the UK and Europe. Currently I’m arranging Sarasate’s Carmen Fantasy for my cross-genre folk ensemble Mother Tongues, curating a chamber concert celebrating the work, philosophy, and photography of Ernest Bloch, and co-managing Garúa Tango Club. I also teach at the Glasshouse International Centre for Music and enjoy creating and performing with a wide range of ensembles.
