My life revolves around art in every way. My specialty is children’s illustrations, book illustrations, comic book illustrator, and scientific illustrations. I received my AFA from STLCC then transferred to Webster University to receive my BFA in illustration. My main focus with art tends to focus on animals and food as subjects matter. But I am proficient in figure drawing and have spent several years taking figure drawing classes. I want art to fun and whimsy to people’s lives which I why I love children’s illustrations. But I feel it is just as important to bring this light to adults lives as well, to explore and bring out our inner child. Nature is also one of my other passions which is why my art reflects it so heavily. I’m a small business owner with selling my artwork at local establishments, tabling events, and online services. For my day job I work as a graphic novel bookseller/barista and am able to surround myself with art and book illustrations while at the same time being exposed to several graphic novel artists for book signings.…My life revolves around art in every way.
