    uniE608 The Final Match performance
The Final Match is a piece scored for two pianos, violin, cello, and double bass. It is inspired by the game of chess and its role in the show, The Queen’s Gambit. Chess has always fascinated me, and I wanted to portray the duality of the game through music. In this piece I tried to reflect both the immense wit and technicality of chess as well as the emotional ties that many have with the game. musiccomposer music video
    uniE608 Villanelle performance
This piece is based off of the assassin character, Villanelle, from the thrilling drama series, “Killing Eve”. Villanelle is a complex character who kills with no remorse but later falls deeply in love. I wanted to capture the ever shifting moods that Villanelle has throughout the series, and how her character progresses as her layers are peeled back to reveal a more human side. The variety of timbres made through the flute, saxophone, percussion, piano, violin, and cello, are meant to represent her eccentric personality. The process of composing this piece was very rewarding, and it was an exciting challenge to bring Villanelle to life through music. musiccomposer composer
    uniE608 The Radley House performance
This piece is inspired by the Harper Lee novel, To Kill a Mockingbird. The piano and violin duet portray the mysterious presence of the Radley house as well as the duality of the character, Boo Radley. It explores his sensitive nature and how it conflicts with the frightening presence he is rumored to be. musiccomposer video music

The piece uses real whale calls with permission from the Oceana Project of the humpback whale, orca whale, and white whale species recorded on the southern hemisphere spring equinox in Hervey Bay, Australia. musiccomposer musicvideo composer music
