I am a motivated and curious artist-scholar with a dual focus in music and anthropology. I earned a Master of Arts in Anthropology from the University of Victoria and a Bachelor of Music in Composition from MacEwan University. I teach privately, compose and arrange music, and perform professionally, and I draw on my academic training to explore how culture and sound intersect in everyday life. In addition to my wide ranging experience as a composer in jazz, pop, and symphonic contexts, I have focused my musical development in recent years within the realm of music production and electronic music.
