I’m Emanuel Camilo Moreira, a music producer, composer, sound designer, and artist based in Barcelona. With a background in filmmaking and audiovisual creation, I build projects that blend music production, sampling, composition, and experimental sound design—using sound as a narrative tool to create distinctive sonic identities for artists and film work.
I mainly work in Ableton Live, crafting music from samples, field recordings, electronic sounds, and unconventional source material. I also enjoy collaborating in an iterative, project-based way—shaping the sound around the needs of each song, short film, or audiovisual piece—and I teach beginner-friendly music production so students can learn Ableton through making music, not just theory.

Compasión is an experimental, sample-based music and audiovisual project built from samples of Argentine folk singer Chaqueño Palavecino.
The piece combines electronic music production and sampling with a video montage made from fragments of Argentine gauchesca and folkloric imagery. I collaborated with filmmaker and editor Andrés Medina, who edited the video component of the project.
The project explores cultural identity, popular music, tradition and the transformation of existing audiovisual material into a new artistic context.
Compasión was exhibited at Orbit in Zurich as a continuous audiovisual installation. Presented in a street-facing gallery window, the song and video played continuously for 24 hours a day, turning the work into an ongoing public listening and viewing experience.
Role: Music Producer, Composer and Artist.
Collaboration: Andrés Medina — Video Editing.

La Última Casa en el Delta is a 12-minute horror short film for which I created the original music and sound design.
The project involved composing music specifically for picture, developing atmosphere and tension through sound, and integrating Foley provided by the directors into the overall sonic world of the film. I worked closely with the directors to shape the relationship between music, sound and image, adapting the composition and sound design to the narrative and emotional needs of each scene.
The project allowed me to combine my background in film with my practice as a music producer and sound designer, creating a cohesive sonic identity for a narrative film.
Role: Composer, Music Producer and Sound Designer.

Where Do Calls Come From? is an experimental audiovisual music project built entirely around samples from slasher horror films.
The project explores the relationship between cinema, sound and narrative, transforming fragments of dialogue, atmosphere and film audio into an original musical composition. Through sampling, electronic production, sound manipulation and composition, the work creates a new sonic narrative from existing cinematic material.
The project was conceived as an immersive listening experience and was performed live at Zumzeig in Barcelona and Cineclub Florida in Buenos Aires.
Role: Music Producer, Composer, Sound Designer and Performer.
Skills: Experimental Music · Sampling · Sound Design · Electronic Music · Composition · Audiovisual Performance
