I’m Emma May Jones, a passionate presenter, journalist and performer who thrives on telling stories that connect and inspire. As a freelance newsreader, journalist and reporter for BBC West Country, I cover Bristol, Wiltshire and Gloucestershire, bringing local stories to life with authenticity and energy. In 2025, I co-presented the Child of Wales Awards alongside Gethin Jones, leading red carpet interviews and sharing the stage with stars like Ruth Jones and Melanie Walters. I’ve also created hard-hitting documentaries including “A Second Away from Death: Gang Violence on the Streets of Bristol” and “Disappeared: The Last Walk of Jack O’Sullivan.” Away from the newsroom, I performed in Les Misérables at the 2025 Royal Variety Show, reflecting my lifelong love of performance and live storytelling.
