I have just successfully completed a MSc in 3D Design for the Virtual Environment at Glasgow Caledonian University, building on my BSc in 3D Animation and Visualization with Pathways for Games and VFX. Prior to studying at Glasgow Caledonian University, I completed a two-year Higher National Diploma in Computer Animation and Design at City of Glasgow College. This learning has built on my personal love of art and design; I regularly attend oil painting classes for both enjoyment and training in the disciplines that oil painting requires: observation, perspective, shape and colour.
I am now regularly asked to design characters for games and animations and recently provided a simple animation for use in a local band’s music video. In addition to my creative interests, through employment and volunteering I have gained valuable experience working with the public, dealing with difficult and sensitive situations, and learning to work as part of a team while also being a self-starter who plans daily tasks to achieve outcomes. I am friendly, outgoing and punctual, and I understand the importance of reliability when it comes to planning available resources.
