I am a determined and striving for success second-year student at the Queensland University of Technology who is pursuing a Bachelor of Mass Communication, with a major of Entertainment and minor in Media and Communication. As I’m currently studying for my degree, I have gained the knowledge and working experience throughout the course in areas that I find myself most suited such as event management and planning, a broad spectrum of journalism, managing social media and their online content platform and speech communication. I aim to use the above skills/knowledge acquired from my degree to pursue and apply for my future career in hopes of achieving the goals that I've set myself to achieve. Being an ambitious individual, I have gained outside valuable experiences and skills through my volunteer experiences and also awards that push me out of my comfort zone. Skills such as being a team player, communication, time management, strategic thinking and more through my own stepping stone to becoming someone ready for anything that is set by my industry's real-world challenges. Even though my years of working in my industry is scant, this does not stop me from wanting and thriving for what I want to make that growth in my experience within my chosen industry. As determined as I am, I will add significant value to any role or responsibility given, even with its challenges which I am ready to tackle through it.
