Changing Hats Logo Design

This logo was created for a writer exploring themes of storytelling, transformation, and the many roles people take on in life. The phrase "Changing Hats" became the central concept, symbolising the fluidity of identity and the shifting nature of creative and personal journeys. Using the classic Helvetica font for a timeless, clean look, I integrated a color scheme matching the client’s existing brand, but with a creative twist—mixing colors within the text to visually reinforce the idea of transition and change. To further emphasise the theme, I designed a pictogram featuring a hybrid character—a fusion of historical and cultural figures such as Plato, Abraham Lincoln, Charlie Chaplin, and Sherlock Holmes—each known for their distinct personas. I played with hats unusual for these figures, reinforcing the idea that everyone eventually steps into unexpected roles. Working as an intern in the Warsaw branch of Dragon Rouge - I designed structural packaging for the winner of the home-brewed beer competition - Birofilia 2009 Festival - Kozlak Bracki beer by Grupa Zywiec. The client's brief for us was to create packaging for one bottle of beer and an occasional short-stem beer glass with a letter of praise about the bear winning the annual competition. Based on the idea of a vault book, I developed a multiple-layer cardboard box hollowed out to fit one bottle and one glass precisely. Both are 100% safe without any padding inside. All branding was printed on the front and back of the box, secured with an occasional paper band.
