The Backstory:
When Mengyang Pan first approached me, her website was doing her no favors. A world-class pianist renowned for her elegance and power on stage, her online presence appeared dated, was broken on mobile devices, and was completely misaligned with the caliber of her work. The layout was clunky. The pages were slow. The design didn’t reflect her artistry or personality and certainly didn’t help concert organizers or fans get to know her better.
What she needed wasn’t just a fix. She needed a transformation. A site that matched her level of excellence.

My Role:
This was a solo project from start to finish. I handled everything from rebuilding the layout to defining the visual language and optimizing for responsive behavior. The site was built entirely in Wix Studio, which gave me the freedom to implement clean animations, responsive scaling, and a polished visual flow. I collaborated directly with Mengyang to understand what elements of her artistry and career were most important to highlight.

Bringing It to Life
I didn’t just want the site to look clean. I wanted it to move. Not flashy motion, but thoughtful, understated transitions that feel like part of the user’s natural flow.
Wix Studio gave me just enough flexibility to bring this to life:

• Images fade gently into view
• Text glides in with a slight delay
• The mobile experience retains all motion without sacrificing speed or usability

The Result
The redesign speaks in Mengyang’s voice: professional, graceful, and confident. Her new site finally presents her the way she deserves to be seen. Not as a placeholder online, but as a true digital stage.
