Hey there, I’m Felix! I’m a trans and queer illustrator and graphic designer based in Philadelphia, PA, and a Spring 2023 graduate from the Tyler School of Art and Architecture at Temple University. Besides wielding a pencil, I also wield a portafilter as a part-time barista; I can whip up a tasty latte and a killer design in equal measure.
Outside of work, I love to hang out with my cat, dance badly to loud music, and cook a hell of a lot of pasta. I also create fanart on the side, which you can find here!
Experience: Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Lightroom, Acrobat, XD, After Effects), Procreate
Let me know if you’d like to work together, I’d love to create something awesome with you! Or if you just want a recommendation for the most fun-shaped pastas for your dinner party, I’m your guy. :)

“Charcoal” is a semi-autobiographical graphic novel about self-discovery, healthy friendships, and how to be a human being. This deeply personal graphic novel was my way of processing an emotionally abusive relationship that I was stuck in for two and a half long years - a sizable portion of my undergraduate career. The trauma I endured and the loneliness I felt during that time was intense, but so was the love and support that enveloped me when I was able to find my footing again.
In creating this graphic novel, I wanted to tell my story in a tender, endearing way, as well as remind myself that there are still wonderful people and things in this world that will treat me with kindness. The linked case study walks through my creative process for the making of Charcoal, explaining my artistic choices and inspirations, as well as giving a glimpse into the dear friends who made this story possible in the first place.: https://www.twine.net/signin
