Born and raised in North Carolina, eleven years ago, Andrew packed up his car to move to L.A. without knowing a soul. Since then, he has worked tirelessly and tenaciously to fulfill his dream as a writer/author/producer. His first produced film, FLASHES, was an indie Sci-Fi/Thriller starring Tom Sizemore and Christopher Judge, which received Houston’s first ever film grant, and is now available for streaming on Amazon Prime, Tubi, and other platforms. He has optioned scripts to Mark Canton, Runaway Planet, m45 Productions, and Thank You Pictures, among others. This year, Andrew optioned an Action/Thriller and a Sci-Fi/Thriller feature to Thank You Pictures, producers of Michael Mann’s Oscar-nominated FERRARI. He also optioned the rights to the award-winning novel, GODS OF HOWL MOUNTAIN, which he plans to adapt and co-produce. Most recently, Andrew is currently in negotiations with a publisher for his debut collection of short stories. From 2021 to March 2023, Andrew served as lead writer on a new video game from AAA game studio, That’s No Moon. Andrew’s projects have garnered numerous awards, including Silver Prize at PAGE, four Nashville Film Fest Finalists, and a short film screening at San Diego Comic-Con. Andrew is also a past cohort of the 1in4 Coalition (where his mentor was Chris Ord, former showrunner of DAREDEVIL), a program aimed at improving disabled representation in Hollywood. Andrew owes his love of film to his dad, who passed away almost five years ago. As a child, Andrew and his father -- who was often out of town for work -- would go to the theater every Friday that he was home. Andrew currently resides in Hollywood, and is passionate about his cat Moon Bear, hiking, cowboy boots, and bourbon.
