Fernando Tur is a director, musician, producer, actor and dancer. He studied music at Conservatorio Nacional López Buchardo and at Sadem. He plays piano, guitar, accordion, bass and drums. His drama and dance teachers include Alejandro Catalán, Ricardo Bartís, Valeria Kovaldoff, Andrea Fernández and Susana Tambutti. He co-founded the group Krapp 13 years ago, and has traveled around the world with them to such places as the United States, Spain, Portugal, Uruguay, Germany and Mexico. He has worked as a performer for directors such as Casella, Ana Frenkel, Roberto Castro and Roxana Grinstein.
In 2007, he founded the group Cocktail Tour Musique and has been its director ever since. He currently works as an actor and composer for film, theatre, dance and commercials. He made appearances in the films La Flor, directed by Mariano Llinás; El loro y el Cisne and El escarabajo de oro, by Alejo Moguillansky, Pin de Fartie, premiered in Venice in 2025.
He wrote the score for the films Cuatro Mujeres, by Santiago Loza; Rama Negra, by Camila Toker; and El espejo de los otros, by Marcos Carnevale, which features Cocktail Tour, and La edad media by Alejo Moguillansky, among others. His musical and theatre work have been covered in many of the top publications in Argentina, as well as abroad, including in the New York Times.
