I was born in Frankfurt am Main in April 1968. I studied Informatik at the TH Darmstadt and sociology at the University of Hamburg. I completed an editing traineeship and have been working as a freelance editor since 1998. My main focus is the editing of documentaries and reports for German and international TV and movie production companies. Several films I edited were shown at international festivals, including award winners and Grimme Prize nominations. Over the years, I've worked on a wide range of projects including TV series and feature films. Some highlights include editing the Prix Europa award winner 'Grabsteine aus Kinderhand', the Berlinale-selected documentary 'Comrade Couture', and the feature film 'Das Letzte Mahl' which premiered at the Los Angeles Jewish Film Festival in 2018.
