Hi, My name is Filip, and I recently returned to my hometown in Poland after living in Amsterdam, where I gained valuable knowledge and experience within the fashion industry. I completed my school at the Business Fashion Academy program in Utrecht, where I developed a strong understanding of both the business and creative aspects of fashion, including fashion design. During my studies, I gained insight into the inner workings of fashion brands and the overall structure of the industry. Although I acquired a solid business foundation, I chose to pursue the creative path of fashion design. After graduating, I further developed my skills by completing additional courses in sewing and design in Amsterdam and began an internship at a fashion designer’s studio. This internship allowed me to experience many aspects of the fashion industry in one environment. I contributed to the design of collections and garments in collaboration with artists, working closely with the owner and lead designer. My responsibilities included creating technical drawings, developing patterns, and producing prototypes essential for fittings. This experience significantly strengthened my design skills and my ability to collaborate within a dynamic and creative environment. In addition, I was actively involved in various artistic projects, including art exhibitions, assisting with the organization of thematic festival spaces, and attending my first Fashion Week in Amsterdam. These experiences allowed me to connect with many creative professionals and further broaden my perspective on fashion and art. While I am aware that my experience in the specific role I am applying for may still be developing, I am confident that my skills, industry knowledge, and strong motivation will allow me to contribute positively to your company.
